2023 Physical Therapy Consumer Survey

Our 2023 Physical Therapy Consumer Survey is now published and available for free download from our free resources page.

We commissioned a professional survey company to ask 400 people a range of questions about their awareness around physical therapy, what could be treated, their confidence in different types of treatments, and how they would go about choosing a practitioner.

The results were sometimes surprising, with 1 in 4 people surveyed not being aware that physical therapy could treat sports injuries, and only 1 in 3 women over 35 aware that gynae and pelvic floor physio services are available.

Data on how patients approach choosing a therapist is also crucial to physical therapy clinics looking to market their service, and showed a heavy weighting towards Google search.

Let's talk about your clinic.

No slides and no pitch. Tell us where the clinic is now, what is working, what is not and what you want more of. We will listen, say honestly what we would do next, and explain where we could help if you want us to.

Plenty of people take the advice away and get on with it themselves. That is fine by us.
